Hanne Mällinen-Scott

Training and Background

Hanne heads our Litigation Department in Ramsgate.

After finishing her nursing studies in Finland, Hanne moved to Canterbury in 1999 to commence her law studies at the University of Kent. She joined Robinson Allfree in the summer of 2004 to work as a clinical negligence paralegal and then continued as a trainee solicitor until qualifying in 2008. She moved to work in London for Irwin Mitchell Solicitors in their Industrial Injuries division, and rejoined Robinson Allfree in April 2011.  She became a partner in August 2012.

Specialisms and Expertise

Hanne has a great deal of expertise in clinical negligence claims, enhanced by her in-depth medical knowledge gained from her nursing studies and through working in local hospitals. She is also experienced in dealing with asbestos-related claims and general personal injury matters, together with employment disputes and contract law.

Hanne is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. 

Personal

Hanne lives in Whitstable with her husband and daughter. She loves sailing and is a member of Whitstable Yacht Club. She is a qualified singing teacher and is also a keen cook.
